Our commitment

Little Stars Nursery is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. We aim to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

Measures we take

Semantic HTML
Proper headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate easily.
Keyboard navigation
Every interactive element can be reached and used without a mouse.
Colour contrast
Text and background colours meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
Focus indicators
Clear visible focus styles so you always know where you are on the page.
Responsive design
The site adapts to any screen size, font size or zoom level.
ARIA labels
Icons and controls have descriptive labels for assistive technologies.

Known limitations

Some photos uploaded by staff to the parent portal may not include alternative text. We train staff to add descriptions, but older uploads may lack them. If you need a description of any image, please contact us.
